People can only meet you as deeply as they’ve met themselves and if you carry a lot of depth and have the inner world of an ocean it will feel like drowning to anyone who’s never left the shore

According to Classical Islamic scholar, Al Shirazi, souls that have reached a higher level of spirituality can influence the material world through the agency of the soul in prayers (du’a). He adds, theology has proved that matter submits to the souls and is influenced by them.

The world is changeable by nature, to be attached to it is to be in perpetual turmoil. God alone is the Eternal One.

Thinking about the words of the classical Islamic scholar, Sadr al-Din al-Shirazi when he said, با دل و جانی به صد وابستگی کی توانی زین جهان وارستگی With a heart and soul bound by a hundred attachments how can you ever be free from this world?

Literally. They turn into عسلي eyes (honey-coloured).
