I place it in a Google Drive for everyone with a single CSV to large for google so there is a spilt one uploading. a sqlitedb with more scrapped info and a python query script to look around. just realized gemma-4 has 8 versions and almost picked the wrong one. E4B sounds like "4B model, small and fast." it's not. the full model is 8.0B in memory. the E means it computes like a 4B model, but the weights are still 8B. you save compute, not RAM. same with E2B: 2B compute, 5.1B in memory. the one i actually wanted: 26B-A4B. MoE architecture. 25.2B total parameters, only 4B active per token. 27-30GB VRAM. runs agent workloads with long system prompts without melting my GPU. also surprised me: the entire family is text-output only. can see images, hear audio, watch video. but only outputs text. and audio input only works on the two smallest models. the 26B and 31B can't hear anything. local agent → 26B-A4B need the best → 31B voice assistant → E4B edge → E2B

Dan Carlin from Hardcore History once said something like “ the greatest lesson from ww2 was Japanese culture”. We learned of an entirely new and beautiful world that was beyond imagination or imitation. We learned how much your culture shifted to try to compete with the west on industrialization and the incredible strides and discipline only the Japanese have to make those alterations within a few generations. It was a doubled edged sword of progress. As America became a global hegemony post the war we too had suffered greatly when it comes to our culture and I like to think that you folks can be a guide to our reformation. I don’t deny that point. I’ll attempt to clarify my position because you responded earnestly. Billions can run this on their phone when they formally had no option. Millions can access this in their house without needing to have a dedicated machine. Gemma models have always been a weapon of the masses for the best of breed lowest memory footprint. To your perspective for those that think this is a frontier model or a coding replacement for Anthropic and OpenAI, it’s not. It’s democratization of reasoning for everyone’s mobile devices.

Gemma 4 just dropped and it's already dead last on BridgeBench Debugging. 42.6 overall. 15th out of 15 models tested. The next worst model scores 60.9. Gemma isn't close. Google's open source coding darling can't debug production TypeScript. 80% on competitive coding benchmarks. 42.6 on real-world debugging. Benchmarks lie. BridgeBench doesn't.

@Ubiquiti help @UPS lost another package and there is no way to gain resolution. It's been nearing 14 days. I understand this is not your fault but I can't seem to get any support. 1ZW864440393486249 I responded in less than 5 minutes this morning when they asked for an update. Then they immediately closed it out. Been on the phone 30 minutes and UPS is very clear they don't care. I followed up via email and the phone and this issue is resolved from what they are saying and out the money. Is the only safe way to get Ubiquiti products in the US from amazon because they have the ability to compel shipping companies? If that's the case I'll do it but I was hoping for a different experience.
