Geely beli Proton ni memang business masterclass. Capture market Malaysia yang polisi berat sebelah nak protect Proton. Umpama untung free, tak perlu susah payah compete dengan company luar yang kena duty/trafiff/tax macam2.

@paultan dah publish news ni, so rasanya rumour tu memang berasas sebab The Edge siap quote @joharighani lagi. Dan alasan MITI? Nak jaga P1 dan P2. 10 tahun dulu ya mungkin make sense. Tapi zaman la ni? P1 tu sebenarnya kuda tunggangan Geely je. paultan.org/2026/03/30/byd…

Macam bodoh gila price out EV utk T5. Siapa je yg mampu beli kalau monthly payment dah RM2K+? Aku jarang maki Madani tapi kali ni mmg bangsat betul la. Sbb nak protect kereta nasional jadian, merapu polisi yg dibuat. Minyak makin mahal + alternatif pun dimahalkan. Bodoh.

Aku ni takdelah cerdik mana tapi kalau betul nak kurangkan subsidi bahan api maka kenderaan EV adalah salah satu solusinya (selain pengangkutan awam atau suruh pekerja WFH). On way to encourage people to buy EV in Malaysia is to make it affordable, sebab petrol kita murah dan susah nak push people to buy EV based on that fuel saving idea (unlike in Thailand).

Pasal 2 entiti nak dibela ni, kereta kat Malaysia jadi mahal. Merapu utk car-centric country mcm Malaysia jual kereta mahal2. Bodo.

𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬. 𝐄𝐕 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 Malaysia has one of the cheapest petrol prices in the region at RM1.99/L for RON95, but that comes at a heavy cost. With global oil prices rising amid the current Middle East crisis, the government is spending significantly more just to maintain that subsidised price. In February alone, the subsidy bill was about RM700 million. It jumped to around RM3 billion in March, and is expected to exceed RM4 billion in April. At the same time, the BUDI95 (RM1.99/L) quota has been reduced from 300L to 200L per month, while the unsubsidised RON95 price is now RM3.87/L. The govt is currently subsidising RM1.88 for every litre of RON95 petrol. Assuming each Malaysian uses an average of 100L per month, that's equivalent to RM188/month in subsidies per person. If 1 million Malaysians switch from petrol to EV, that's RM188 million saved every single month based on the current RON95 prices. In one year, that's RM2.3 billion saved. 𝐄𝐕 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 EV adoption isn’t just about going green. It’s about reducing exposure to volatile global oil prices, lowering the long-term subsidy burden and enabling energy independence through renewable source including solar, hydropower and battery energy storage systems. Instead of subsidising petrol, Malaysia could be investing in local energy generation. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡? Malaysia initially set a target of 10,000 EV charge points by the end of 2025. As of November 2025, we only achieved 5,360 charge points according to ST's data. Who is accountable for not meeting the target? What exactly is holding things back? Approvals, grid limitations, or commercial viability? Why is it difficult to deploy large scale chargers on highways? Where are the stronger incentives or mandates to accelerate EV charger deployment? Fuel subsidies are rising but public EV infrastructure is lagging behind. Malaysia needs to invest forward in enabling large scale charging hubs along strategic interstate routes ahead of demand, introduce policies such as the Right to Charge and ensuring all highways are EV friendly. We can either keep subsidising heavily on petrol, or start investing in energy independence. @PetraJayaMP @AlexNantaLinggi @joghanicomms @anthonyloke

Jurgen Klopp on Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool: "I hope he can have a successful rest of the season. We texted last night but I really hope he enjoys the rest of the season, but I know Mo can only enjoy it if you win football matches and he scores. "I really hope that on the last matchday, you all will have a smile on your face, be happy and thankful that one of the most incredible careers that we will ever be apart of. "Where he came from, what he went through and what he gave us, incredible. "When you work with him, the bigger view is just ridiculous, unmatched numbers, we may sit here in 10 years, maybe Ekitike (breaks his record) but it will be difficult. One of the all time greats leaves the club in the summer, lets see where he will show up next." The German added: "It was a joy, a challenge, hard work from both sides (to work with him), an incredible outcome. I couldn't imagine something like this was possible, the numbers he produced, the performances, some of them will be unmatched I'm sure. "I already look back and I can't believe how something like this was possible. The goals he scored, consistency he showed, the desire and eagerness to grow bigger and bigger." @TheAnfieldWrap

Someone added proper cooling to the MacBook Neo 💀 Using a custom copper heatsink over the CPU, then attaching a liquid-cooled Peltier cooler externally And the results are insane: • Temps: 105°C → ~74°C • Gaming: ~30fps → ~58-60fps • Benchmarks: +17-18% Sustained performance improved massively with no aggressive throttling! 📸 via: ETA Prime / YouTube
