hot take perhaps to be clear i think ccs should get more political and more vocal about important issues that being said i find it really strange how people zero in on spidey being russian, yet are completly fine w american ccs staying silent about west asia, cuba, ICE, etc...

@sanity_spire the only reason i made the tweet was a handful of people directly saying these issues weren’t “as bad/important” in their tweets about spidey, which i found gross, so i wanted to comment on it. i should’ve focused on that instead of giving it an air of general-ness

@tilde_sofie exactly what i've been saying. this is obv not to downplay what she did, but i've rarely ever seen such standards being applied to US cc's. idk if ur part of the mcsr community but it reminded me of only 1 tweet calling attention to the venue being sponsored by the US army.
