ABIA STATE: On Tuesday night, June 16, 2026, the number 2 man of 22/BB (NALT) cult group at Abia State University, Uturu, identified as Bliss, was found de@d from a gvnsh0t wovnd to the he@d. The Apache number 2 man, who was reportedly an only son and a final-year student, was found with a gvn at his off-campus residence. (2 videos of the dece@sed on TG)
During our investigation into the case, some sources suggested that the incident may have been self-inflicted, citing possibilities such as su!c!d£, accidental discharge, sh00ting while under the influence of substances, testing his charm (juju) which failed. Others, however, maintained that Bliss was attacked and that the injur¥ was not self-inflicted. Naija Confra reached out to security sources, who stated that they are investigating the case as a possible murd£r in order to determine whether Bliss was k**led by another person.
Upon further investigation, Naija Confra gathered from students that Bliss was among those seen in a viral video from May 14, 2026, in which Apache cultists attacked a rival cultist who had come to defend a non-cultist being attacked by Apaches over an issue involving a girl. It remains unclear whether that incident is connected to his de@th, and a thorough investigation is therefore necessary.
Based on information gathered by Naija Confra, there are several possibilities that investigators may need to examine: the de@th may have been self-inflicted; it may have involved attackers who left the gvn at the scene to make it appear self-inflicted; or it may have involved attackers who k**led Bliss before he could use his own gvn to defend himself. Naija Confra urges the Abia State Police Command to thoroughly investigate all possible angles of the case and establish the true circumstances surrounding his de@th.

Operatives of the ever-active Ogun State Police Command have arrested 30 suspected cultists during a raid on a suspected cult initiation procession in Isara-Remo on June 16, 2026. The operation was carried out by the Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) in collaboration with officers from Isara Area Command and Isara Division, following credible intelligence about an unlawful gathering.
The suspects include: Muiz Olawale, Adeniji Akinwale, Ajayi Victor, Damilola Oluwasegun, Adewale Olayemi, Aminu Rahmon, Olodudu Ademola, Matthew Imoleayo, Adenle Habeb, Lekan Qudus, Olamilekan Ayanleke, Adegbasa Ezekiel, Ibukun Adeniyi, Abiodun Babatunde, Oshofolahan Michael, Salau Adedeji, Benjamin Kehinde, Magnus Elijah, Oluwadamilare Samson, Oyebowale Ojutona, Abiodun Makanjuola, Idowu Toheeb, Olamide Sunday, Malik Also, Abdullahi Damilola, Israel Ayomikun, Oyeledun Ezekiel, Adelabu Imoleayo, Ajayi Oluwasegun, and Olaawun Faith.
Police said the suspects were found in an unfinished building where they were reportedly holding a meeting, consuming alc0hol, chanting, and attempting initiation activities. The operatives stormed the location, dispersed the gathering, and arrested the suspects, while 4 vehicles were recovered after others fled the scene.
Items recovered include a jack knif£, a local drum, a rattle (sekere), and bottles suspected to have been used for alc0hol. The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Abeokuta, for further investigation and will be charged to court after completion of inquiries. Police say efforts are ongoing to arrest other fleeing members.
Naija Confra would like to add that the “Ibiza Deck” writing on the drum seen in the picture is a deck in Ogun State associated with the Buccaneers (BAN) cult group, which suggests that those arrested are linked to the BAN cult group.
