Disagree. Really like what the Eagles have done this offseason. Eagles had $12+ million in cap space to start free agency and now have nearly $40 million. Upgraded from Adoree Jackson and Kelee Ringo to Riq Woolen at a cap hit of less than $4 million. Signed a speed threat at WR3 for up to $6 million - a role they’ve sorely missed for the last couple of years. Marquise Brown can stretch the field. Sean Mannion is an upgrade over Kevin Patullo, despite his lack of coaching experience. Johnny Mundt is a good blocking TE - something they missed last year and he got $750 k GTD. Arnold Ebiketie is a better addition than Josh Uche and Azeez Ojulari from last year. OL needs to get healthy and be addressed in the draft, with safety and another edge serving as the other needs. WR and TE in the draft would be a bonus, but we’ll see what happens with AJ Brown. #Eagles

One thing I don’t understand is this notion of college players getting tired. With a couple coaches deciding to play just 5 players it’s gotten a bit of coverage. I say it’s nonsense.

@brandon_ha20542 @HoopsWeiss That's because those teams were not perceived to be as good as Miami. Power 4 schools know who to avoid from mid-majors. Those programs sometimes differ from year to year. But, believe me, coaches know which games can only hurt them

@HoopsWeiss Total Bullshit. Every MAC team played at least 2 Quad 1 games. Most played 3 or 4. Akron (preseason favorite) was 0-2 vs Q1 and played Purdue. Kent St was 0-3 and also played Purdue. Toledo 0-3 played Michigan St and Belmont. Ohio 0-3 played L'Ville and St. Marys.

This would be a great avenue to sanity in college sports . It will take commissioners to come together and set standards and rules. But they need federal support .

I agree but let’s remember that if Miami is undefeated there is no at large conversation. The question is how many losses they can take and still get in? I say one for sure. Two would be dicey. Three and they’re out. Buckle up!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why there's no reason to expand the NCAA tournament. We won't get more worthy mid-majors; just more Power 5 teams that went 9-9 or 7-10 in their conference.

@Chaka95 @HoopsWeiss You have to be enrolled full-time in the spring. Enrollment doesn't mean you have to attend or complete them

@HoopsWeiss I believe that eligibility for the current semester in NCAA hoops is based on the prior semester, so you don’t have to take classes or very minimal in the spring and still play. it’s been that way for years I believe.

@HoopsWeiss He was enrolled full-time in the fall. He had to be. Don't know when his spring semester started, but if didn't, he is not in classes now. If it did start, he is enrolled full-time now, but will drop them on Tuesday. He still had eligibility benchmarks to meet as a grad student

Eagles played with almost all of their day 1 starters available. The 49ers came in without so many of their starters and they just continue to find a way. Great performance by the 49ers Defense! Eric Kendricks impact was felt all game but never more than that last play! Veteran feel all game long. Sound tackling and poise!
