We've got another Santa Ana Wind event coming up on Thursday, with gusty winds expected for the mountains, valleys, and even some of the winds making it to the coast. Winds will be strongest on the coastal slopes of the mtns, with gusts around 60 mph possible. #cawx

***SMOKE ADVISORY*** @MCIWPendletonCA has a vegetation fire in an impact area on their base. Smoke may be visible but there is no fire threat to our district.

CAMP PENDLETON FIRE UPDATE A fire has been reported at Range 132 in the X-Ray impact zone. There is no imminent threat to nearby communities or personnel. We will continue to update as needed. There is a lot of drift smoke impacting the Valley Center area, no threat.

#CasnerFire east of Ramona [update] Fire remains 180 acres and is now 35% contained. There was no spread overnight, and firefighters made good progress mopping up and building containment line. Firefighting resources remain assigned and will continue working throughout the day.

#CasnerFire Update - Forward ROS has stopped at 180 acres. Two Air Tankers are going to be released, Air Attack 310 is enroute to relief Air Attack 501.
