I spent my childhood attending Easter Vigil Mass. It is my favorite Mass of the year as a Catholic. I wasn't a Sunday morning Easter person. It really sucks, this Pope, and other Christians that have disappointed me. I remember Charlie apologizing to a kid for the Christian that hurt her. Charlie Kirk is the Christian that i always revered because I could never come close to him but knew I could call a friend. The older I get the whole resurrection and heaven concept becomes harder to accept as real. I am more Christian compared to any other belief today. I hope I can be forgiven for this struggle and that what I have done is enough to get through the gates to paradise but more importantly that my husband can be saved through me because I don't long for any eternity that he is not present. I cry sometimes holding him because life is so precious since we found each other and the idea that it's just nothing but silence, and empty void after is so terrifying. Life has been so incredibly hard and it felt like God brought him into my life in a demonstration and said "this is why"
