@wiltingdecay I’m pretty sure it’s an oversight (like so many things in this game tbh) and I hate that it’s never explained. Astarion thinks Gale’s blood tastes like brandy and tbh I just chalk it up to Gale somehow changing up the scent through magic?? Idk

@voidbulb yknow i've never actually thought about how weird it is that astarion can tell that araj's blood is tainted before biting her but he can't with gale. even as an oversight it's odd, so i wonder why they implemented and then removed it
