Ateneo Blue Eagles rookie and former UAAP juniors MVP Kieffer Alas is at the NBI for the fact-finding investigation into the deaths of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili on Wednesday.
He did not speak to the media anymore.
But in a 90-minute podcast with veteran journalist Pia Hontiveros that was aired Tuesday, Alas and third-year Blue Eagle Sam Reyes shared what really happened in Aurora on June 8, 2026, when rip currents carried them away from the shore.
