I've been thinking about this really hard and I genuinely cannot see why I would want to give up Singapore citizenship for US citizenship The only scenario is maybe if you got married to a US citizen and were pressured to do it. The taxes alone are insane. Pls explain why?

@AGretz The lottery system is there because they were already tanking so it's not a cause. It just doesn't solve the problem. The NFL also has far less games and one player doesn't necessarily change team and the NFL seems to move more players via free agency

The "3-2-1 lottery" proposal, named to represent the number of lottery balls per team, would expand the lottery from 14 to 16 teams. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs or play-in tournament but stay out of the relegation zone (spots four through 10) would receive three lottery balls each. Teams with a bottom-three record -- the relegation zone -- would have just two lottery balls but have a floor of the 12th pick while the rest of the 13 lottery teams could fall as far as the 16th pick. The 9th and 10th play-in seeds in each conference receive two lottery balls each while the losers of the 7-8 play-in games receive one lottery ball each. In addition, no team would be able to win the top pick in consecutive years or be able to win three consecutive top-five picks. Teams also would not be able to protect picks in the 12 to 15 slots going forward.

Keep seeing people misdiagnose a dislike for the patch as a dislike for the set. I don’t think there’s anything about the design of the set that should make it a glaring issue on release patch. Not enough time to really feel design vs balance issues and not sure people know the difference. Probably need to wait at least halfway to know whether it’s a set or patch issue. I disliked both set 16 and 17 release patches, but mainly due to balance.
