Red Nose Day 2026 ❤️🔴

It’s Comic Relief Day on Friday and our School Council have arranged it so that the children can come to school wearing their own clothes and something red. If they want crazy hair too, then that’s totally fine! No hair colours for the children going swimming please!

Yesterday we competed against our friends in a duathlon. We completed 3 circuits of running and then had to cycle as fast as we could on the bikes then straight back to another 3 circuits of running ! We were very tired afterwards 💤

This afternoon we have been very busy delivering lots of flowers to all of the GSP Mums 🌸🪻🥀🌷💮

This morning Subject revolution transported us to the museum for a reading adventure! We had to work in teams and solve the puzzles using our reading skills 📚📕🖼️

This week is British science week and the theme is curiosity. We have been discussing what science questions we would like answered. We worked together in groups to solve a set of questions ourselves. I think the “Which material is the best for an aeroplane?” Was the favourite!

What a wonderful way to end World Book Day, reading ‘Detective Dog’ to this lovely lot! We discussed the benefits of joining a library, where we can read as much as we like for free! @sycamore_tree1 @willowtreeclass

World book day 2026 📖📚✨

Lots of super, controlled poses today in our first yoga session 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

On Wednesday we all became “Mini first aiders” we learnt how to apply a plaster correctly, what to do if someone is unconscious and how to call an ambulance for help. Well done Willow class 🚑

This afternoon we learnt all about a Muslim’s pilgrimage to Mecca. We discussed what happens when they reach Mecca and how important the journey is to a Muslim. We all recorded our learning and created our own Kaaba. #greatsankeyre
