Strengthening healthcare in Ekiti requires both vision and partnership. Last week, we commissioned a new laboratory facility at the State Specialist Hospital, Ikere-Ekiti, made possible through the generosity of General Oluyede, a proud son of the community. The facility significantly improves our diagnostic capacity with modern units for Haematology, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, and Histopathology. For our people, the impact is clear: faster diagnosis, better treatment decisions, and improved health outcomes. This also advances the commitment of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to strengthen Ekiti’s health system through modern infrastructure and quality services. My sincere appreciation to General Oluyede for this remarkable contribution.
