Sounds good on paper. The real test is whether Auto mode consistently makes the right tradeoff between speed, cost, and reasoning quality. That’s exactly where users worry: I’ve seen cases where Auto seemed to choose a single-agent path, and the answer ended up less detailed and less accurate than a multi-agent one. Hopefully this update fixes that.

You can customize agents to behave the way you want them to, for making image prompts I have: 1) Comprehensive, one of the standard Grok behavior agents you can change. 2) Custom agent that has been given basic color theory and encouraged to be very wordy to help the text translate to image with precision. 3) Custom agent to consider associated and popular and trending ideas, forks, and enhancements for the prompt. 4) Custom agent to provide structure and use specific keywords to make Grok behave and obey the prompt.
