Had a productive conversation with my brother Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and conveyed advance Eid greetings to the people of Oman. We agreed on the need to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy for de-escalation and subsequent restoration of peace and stability. Reiterated India’s condemnation of the violation of Oman’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and appreciated Oman’s efforts to facilitate the safe return of thousands of people, including Indian nationals. India and Oman stand for safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

You should also condemn the attack against the Sovereignty of IRAN !!! Your brothers began this war !! Calling everyone brother is not going to take Indian Diplomacy anywhere ! Some times , the world will respect those who take a legitimate “stance” … Pseudo Neutrals will never have deep friendship with anybody ! This situation can come to India as well in the near future ! The X waale, already started destabilising North East of India ! I plead , pls do not fall on the feets of the real DEVILS !

Brother Sultan Haitham" — Oman is the ONLY Arab nation that maintained diplomatic relations with Iran throughout every crisis since 1979. Modi didn't call MBS. He didn't call Trump. He called the one leader with a direct back-channel to Tehran. This isn't a courtesy call. This is India activating the Iran diplomatic pipeline."Violation of Oman's sovereignty and territorial integrity" — India just publicly condemned US-Israel military operations that overflew or impacted Omani territory without calling out US-Israel by name. Legally condemnatory. Diplomatically insulated. Maximum message, minimum exposure."Safe return of thousands of Indian nationals" — 8.9 million Indians live in Gulf countries. They send home $40+ billion in remittances annually. India cannot afford this war economically OR demographically. Modi is protecting the world's largest diaspora remittance pipeline dressed as a peace call."Safe and free navigation

MODIJI, conveys greetings to Muslim leaders of the world 🌍 on EID Do businesses with every Muslim leader You call them brothers, but your supporters here day in and day out spreads hate in the name of nationalism and wanted to do HOLI on EID in Delhi, not even one statement from any BJP leaders on it You should address the hate & you should curb it, as it’s destroying our secular fabric of our beautiful country 🇮🇳

@narendramodi Beyond the diplomatic overture, sustained trade corridors between India and Oman could cement the peace you’re seeking, turning goodwill into tangible resilience. A small step in logistics often outlasts a grand speech.

Modi stressing dialogue diplomacy and safe Hormuz navigation with Oman's Sultan... lands as steady reassurance to Gulf partners amid rising risks and Indian nationals caught in the crossfire. It's the kind of measured outreach that keeps channels open while the region braces for whatever escalation comes next.

I appreciate the strong stance on sovereignty and the efforts to bring our people home safely. At the same time, we hope this translates into continued protection of Indian nationals abroad and concrete steps to ensure secure navigation and regional stability. Dialogue is important. But it must be backed by consistent action that safeguards people and national interests.

All he ever talks about is having fruitful, meaningful, and productive conversations. But where are the results? To the people of India: has any of this actually improved your lives? Does he treat Indian Muslims the same way he treats Arab Muslims? At some point, the messaging starts to sound hollow. Leadership isn’t about having conversation, it’s about outcomes.

@narendramodi Modi’s "Hormuz Doctrine" underscores India’s shift toward a pro-neutrality stance. By prioritizing the Strait of Hormuz and Sultan Haitham’s mediation, New Delhi is signaling that global energy flow outweighs any singular military alliance.

I believe they're not photo-ops, they're quiet power moves in a tense region. When leaders like this prioritize dialogue over drama, it quietly keeps sea lanes open, protects millions in trade (including our energy lifeline), and builds the kind of trust that actually prevents bigger fires. India-Oman bond staying strong. Respect!

Dialogue and diplomacy" are expensive words when the Strait of Hormuz is effectively a parking lot. Between the Oman sovereignty violations and the 5th Fleet on high alert, the "safe navigation" era is officially in the rearview. My $LMT and $XOM hedges are the only thing making sense in this timeline.

Read this post carefully. Modi isn’t just sending Eid greetings. He’s positioning India as the neutral diplomatic corridor that neither Washington nor Beijing can claim right now. “Safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz” that single line is doing enormous geopolitical work. India imports over 60% of its oil through that strait. Oman sits at its entrance. This isn’t diplomacy. This is energy security dressed as diplomacy. The deeper signal: while the US is operationally inside the Iran conflict and China stays strategically ambiguous, India is quietly becoming the indispensable back channel. The country that can talk to everyone when no one else can. That’s not a soft power move. That’s a positioning play for the post-conflict order. Whoever controls the conversation controls the terms of peace. Modi just reminded everyone he’s still in the room.

The five-second epistemology of the customer. Modi calling Oman’s Sultan isn’t diplomacy. It’s customer service. India is Iran’s second largest customer. India gets its oil through the Strait. India has been negotiating passage case by case since day one. Modi calling Oman — the mediator, the back channel, the country that facilitated the nuclear talks — is Modi calling the customer service line to make sure the orders are getting filled. Safe and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. That’s not a foreign policy statement. That’s a procurement request. India and Oman stand for safe and free navigation the way a buyer stands for on-time delivery. The condemnation of Oman’s sovereignty violation is the polite throat clearing before the real ask — make sure the tankers keep coming. The Eid greetings are the pleasantries before the purchase order. My brother Sultan Haitham is the relationship management before the supply chain conversation. India condemned the violation of Oman’s sovereignty. India did not condemn Iran. India did not join the coalition. India did not send ships. India negotiates case by case. India’s tankers transit when Iran says they can transit. India’s condemnation is aimed at whoever violated Oman — carefully not naming them — because India needs the mediator happy and the mediator is Oman and Oman is the back channel to the Strait and the Strait is where India’s oil comes from. Prioritize dialogue and diplomacy for de-escalation. Translation: don’t let the empire’s war shut off my supply. Subsequent restoration of peace and stability. Translation: get the Strait back to normal so the tankers flow. Every word in this statement is a supply chain request wearing diplomatic clothing. Modi doesn’t care about Oman’s sovereignty. Modi cares about 90% of India’s oil coming through a waterway controlled by a country India has carefully not antagonized for twenty days. Day twenty. Modi calling the customer service line. Oman answering. Iran running the Strait. India’s orders getting filled case by case. The coalition is empty. The CRM is full. Some diplomacy. Some procurement. Some empire.

Talks of diplomacy sound good, but words need to be backed by consistent action. Condemning violations and supporting stability is important, yet the real test lies in how firmly these principles are upheld when it matters most. The region doesn’t need statements ,it needs accountability and genuine commitment to peace.
