Yes. It could use another remake. That doesnt take away from how awesome the original remake is. But that original remake does not fit with the newer generation of RE Remakes, both terms of gameplay and graphical style.

Low doses are where the problems really start, and there’s a reason why: SSRIs bind to the serotonin transporter (SERT) in a non-linear hyperbolic dose–response curve. Many reach roughly 70–80% transporter occupancy at modest doses. At lower doses, the curve is steepest. Because of this relationship between dose and effect, even tiny reductions at low doses cause massive drops in SERT occupancy. This feels bad. This is why, perhaps counterintuitively, dropping from 50 mg to 25 mg is easier than dropping from 5 mg to 0 mg. This could have been avoided or at least minimized with hyperbolic tapering. Instead, the standard crude tapering process creates new issues, new outbursts, and—if doc is particularly incompetent—doc concludes, “I guess you needed this stuff all along!”

Years ago, I hired a magician for a party I had at my house. He dressed like a guest and mingled, slowly ramping up his game. Eventually, people were like who is this guy and gathered around. The craziest thing he did…he asked a guest for two numbers between 1-100. Then he said two words. He asked another guest to go find a book in my house, any book. My friend went upstairs and grabbed a book from my office desk. He went to the first number picked page, the first word he said was the first word on that page. Next he went to the second number’s page and the last word was the second word he said. The guy blew us away for like an hour. We didn’t want him to stop. Best $750 I ever spent.
