Well, what I thought was a small seizure turned into a major episode with my dog Gunner. By 6 pm his gums were white and his paws cold. ER gave us the terrible news. He was bleeding internally, probably from a tumor on his liver or spleen. Surgery was an iffy option and no guarantees. We opted to free him from the constraints of this world. Gunner was 8/9ish, a rescue with some brain damage. I will miss him spinning, jumping up the stairs 3 at a time, his happy face. He was a good boy. My heart is broken. RIP. See you in heaven, good boy.

@lisaburkin I understand the northeast is going to get some roasting temperatures in not too long; hopefully the Vineyard will miss them. My brother lives on Bainbridge Island, WA, when Seattle got whacked with crazy heat the island was comfortably about 70 degrees.
