The fate of the Western World rests on Northern Ireland. It is the ONLY country that is capable of escalating to the next level. Not even the USA can. And IF they do, it will inspire others. But if they do not, it means nobody else can either. The stakes are huge.

A police car reported to have been set on fire in Portadown, southwest of Belfast. 🔴 Now, protests are reported to have broken out in other parts of the UK.

It all traces back to that brutal knife attack on Kinnaird Avenue in north Belfast the other night. A local man in his 40s left fighting for his life in hospital with horrific slash wounds to his face, eyes, neck, and back. Police charged a 30-year-old Sudanese man with attempted murder — the kind of frenzied incident that bystanders had to step in to stop. PSNI and leaders like Keir Starmer are calling for calm, but watching these communities erupt makes you wonder how long the pressure has been building underneath. You scroll through the clips and it hits different every time: families caught in the chaos, emergency services stretched thin, the same questions about safety, integration, and repeated patterns of violence popping up again. Not sure anyone has easy answers, but seeing it unfold live like this leaves you sitting there thinking — is this just another night that gets forgotten, or the moment things finally force a real conversation? On my home from work this evening-Dublin to Belfast.… Translink say there’s a burning car across the line somewhere towards Lisburn and it’s closed…..🤷‍♀️..now reversing back to Portadown.. with no bus home. My worse nightmare-I’m stuck in Portadown!
