Trump wanted the Ukraine war to stop because he said “I don’t want people to die.” "But there are a lot of people dying on something that should be able to be settled... The leader of Ukraine, Zelenskyy wanted American troops to come to Ukraine and fight. He said on national TV: they need to come in a fight, and they will die. That is ridiculous. I've stated no one wants to come to Ukraine to die for Zelenskyy. One of reasons for the war is that a lot of the nations that have joined NATO since 1989 were not supposed to have. That was part negotiated peace settlement with Russia. Ukraine was one of the last of the countries that wants to join NATO. Russia wasn't going to stand by and let that happen. In the Dunbar region of Ukraine was mostly Russian people. They were being persecuted by Ukrainian authorities. That could have been settled. Russia didn't have to go to war, but they did. War is usually harder and a bigger mess when you get into it.

Friends I left in a hurry this morning because I had to get blood work. I am having surgery on my right hand on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the recovery time for this will be between 5 and 6 months. I have two bones in my thumb rubbing together. It is causing a lot of pain. The surgery will involve taking a bone out of the thumb, replacing it with tendons so that the bone doesn’t fall down on another bone that goes into my hand. I am always the person that prays for everyone on my prayer list and I add to it daily when I see you asking for prayer. Today I would like to ask for prayer that the surgery will go as the surgeon has described to me. I will still have the use of the four fingers on that hand so I will be able to communicate with you all. It may take me a few days before I can though. The surgeon will do a nerve block before I come out of surgery so that I will not be in immediate pain. He told me the pain is really going to be bad once the nerve block wears off. I want to thank you in advance for your prayers. 😘 🥰

My mom’s life is shining Jesus in the hospital. Just a few days ago my mom was a Code Blue. Today she got moved from ICU to a regular hospital room. Nurses have told my mom they are glad she is still here and it’s rare to see a Code Blue starting physical therapy a few days later. She’s had some Christian nurses say, “God must not be done with you yet!” Jesus is being glorified in this.

As I've shared, my dad was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia in September. He could still name his grandkids then. But he cannot recognize my mom or me now. As he declines, my prayer is not that he would not forget me or my children. I pray he would not forget the gospel.

Back in 2023 I was put on anxiety medication. I was in a bad way. After talking with my doctor I decided to wean off of it. He agreed and tonight will be the first night in almost 3 years that I haven't taken it. I would very much appreciate your prayers as I adjust.
