@SpotterBrett There are going to be no winners in this. Fans lose, nascar loses, teams lose. A bunch of people will probably lose their jobs.

The rumor MJ has no skin in the game and only using his name is dead. The messages I’ve seen about owners, drivers and fans are fuckin disgusting. I’m a redneck and I’m proud of it.

Paid a visit to our hero on the weekend. Not going to lie, the first time I ever visited Dale I teared up. I was hit with the same wave of sadness that hit me when I found out he died. It still hits me everytime I go there, just not as hard as the first time. If you want, go ahead and share your Dale Statue stories and pictures in the comments, I’d love to hear them.

I got asked a pretty good question today by someone in NASCAR. I answered it as best as I could, but in all honesty I couldn’t truly answer it because I’m actually at the other end of the table when it comes to the true answer, so I’m putting this out there to you all. I know the regular commenters and posters will most likely answer, but I want to hear from some of you others; like the people who never comment, new fans of NASCAR, old fans of NASCAR, former RCR crew members, media types, former NASCAR drivers and friends & family of Dale Earnhardt. Please tell me: What does The Dale Earnhardt Archive mean to you? What are you getting from this group/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube etc. accounts? Thank you for taking the time to answer this, it is much appreciated.

Today is the 25th anniversary of Dale Earnhardt's last win. 25 years. Let that sink in. Dale's full-time NASCAR career wasn't even 25 yrs long! Man. I still remember watching that on TV and cheering Dale on as he moved his way from mid-pack to the front with @Kenny_Wallace in something like 5 laps. Wow! I haven't witnessed anything like that ever since. What makes Dale's 'Last Win' car so interesting is that Chassis RCR058 is kind of an interesting car to say the least as it is actually two different famous Dale Earnhardt driven race cars! This car is perhaps best known as being the No Bull Million Dollar winner and the last car Dale ever won in, coming from 18th to 1st at Talladega in just a handful of laps for the million dollar win, but it is also the vastly popular ‘Taz’ themed red car from the 2000 Daytona 5oo. That’s right, Chassis #58 is both the last win car and the Taz car.
