World Book Day celebrations in Class 2

We are excited for our first ever PTA sponsored duck race!

Forest School fun. This week we found lots of fungi in the forest school.

Evil Pea has trapped the veggies! We had to write a list to save them.

Class 2 Reading Bears. We have all got a special reading bear in Reception. We can’t wait to share our favourite stories with them.

We had the best day with Reception class and their parents and carers finding our reading bears. Thank you for all your help. From Mrs Bruce and Miss Traill

Today, reception had lots of fun making ammonites using nature’s treasure as part of their topic. They did such a great job!

Reception enjoyed their session with Access Coaching. We practised throwing and catching skills followed by a game of dodgeball.

Thanks to everyone who put together our first Appletree's got Talent. We absolutely had a superb range of diverse, interesting and entertaining talents- well done year four. We are so proud of you all! The rest of the school has been inspired...ready for the next show.😊

During Appletree Earth Day reception looked carefully at our world. We talked about ways in which we could be Eco Warriors - Superheroes who save the planet.

Today class 2 released their butterflies into a sunny reception garden.

We have been finding out about London and the Coronation. Today some children built some famous landmarks.

We found out about the Luna New Year. We sang songs, made dragons, performed lion dances, found out about the great race and tasted food. It’s been a busy week!
