Hear, hear. Executing a Power of Attorney for finances and a Power of Attorney for health and welfare whilst you have mental capacity means you get to choose who makes financial and health decisions when you lose capacity; otherwise the Court of Protection will appoint a deputy

I spent £20k in legal fees after my husband suffered a catastrophic brain injury to access our savings in his ISA and gain control of our jointly owned business- everybody needs a LPA both medical and financial it should be the law!! Thank you for highlighting
