UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves's online CV exaggerates how long she spent working at the Bank of England bbc.in/3EBrdWQ

Both in their prime... who are you taking? 🤔

Premier League statement on the regulator 👇 Refers to ‘rigid banking style regulation’. This is from an organisation that has rigid PSR rules that have not changed the £105m loss limit since 2013. Refers to ‘untested powers to intervene in the distribution of Premier League revenues’, yet ignores that there has been no deal put to the EFL since the legislation was first suggested three prime ministers ago. Claims that regulator could have a negative impact on the League’s continued competitiveness. Clearly the PL has not looked at the competitive list of trophy winners and cup finalists in the last decade. Claims the regulator could have a negative impact on ‘the aspiration that drives our global appeal and growth’. Utter hogwash, talk to fans outside the Big Six and you realise that it’s a case of survival or hoping for the lottery win of a multibillionaire owner coming in to transform the club…in an environment where a small group of owners have done all they can to ensure the ‘Big Six’ don’t become a Big Seven or Eight.
