She threw a total of 17.2 innings on the week, including BGSU’s first two CG's of the season. She then threw another complete game three days later, allowing zero earned runs in a six-inning victory over Kent State. Krafcik struck out three and did not walk a batter in that win. She pitched 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in the second game of the day, picking up the win when BGSU rallied for four runs in the seventh inning to win, 7-6. Krafcik pitched the first 3.1 innings of the final game of the KSU series, allowing two earned runs and leaving the game with her team holding a lead they would not relinquish. 🥎 Player of the Week 🥎
@Addie2Martin hit .579 with a 1.211 slugging pct. as Bowling Green went 4-1 last week. Martin went 11-19 with eight runs scored and five extra-base hits in BG's five games. She began her week by going 4-4 with two homers in a win over Green Bay. Martin hit a homer in each of her first two plate appearances at Meserve Field, registering three runs and three RBI in that win. Martin then had two hits, including a triple, in the second game of the DH, beginning her home career by going 6-6 with 14 total bases. Then, Martin went 2-3 with a double, another homer, two runs scored and two RBI in a run-rule win over Kent State. She followed that up with a 2-for-4 performance, stealing two bases and scoring twice, in the nightcap of that twinbill. Martin had another hit and scored a run in BG's victory in the final game of the series, clinching the Falcons' first three-game series sweep in MAC play in over three years. Martin has become just the second player in school history with at least 10 homers and 10 stolen bases in a season
