More Shi’ite militias were killed in this yellow square in North Aleppo in 2016 by Syrian opposition forces than in the entirety of Israel’s regional war against Iran. North Aleppo was a meat grinder for Afghan, Iraqi and Pakistani Shi’a militias sent by Iran to prop Assad up.
