Genuinely curious: if you're a #BlueJays fan, are you actively rooting for Bo Bichette to fail with the #Mets?
Saw this clip circulating of Bo from yesterday, and it seemed like folks were taking a victory lap on his departure.
Not sure I can conjure up any ill-will for Bo.
Gerry Conway, a writer for Marvel Comics who created the Punisher and other famous characters has died at 73.
“Gerry Conway was a gifted writer. He was thoughtful, deeply attuned to the emotional and moral core of storytelling, and a wonderful and articulate advocate for comics and creators. His writing has inspired all of us at Marvel, and will continue to inspire generations of writers, readers and fans to come,” said Dan Buckley, President of Marvel Comics and Franchise.

On behalf of his family, we are sad to share that Gerry Conway has passed away. Gerry was a tremendous icon in comics who shaped pop culture itself. He was a dear friend, partner, and mentor, and our hearts are with his family and the millions he touched through his work.
@20th_Centurygal The damage done when Lennon’s life was cut short — not only for his family, but for his brother Beatles, and for the fans. The Beatles surely would have come together again at some point. Imagine what could have been, the music that we never got to hear.
@melanie_korach@Bonsie1951@NHLFlyers Zez has a special place in my Leaf heart. He and Burnsie are up there in that great arena in the sky — ✨⭐️ ZezelOzzyBerg1993 Forever
Today on April 22 my late cousin Peter #Zezel would have turned 61 yrs old. Please do a random act of kindness today to honour his life & legacy. It would mean so much to me & my family. Our hearts hurt on this day. He mattered so much to us. Still does. #LeafsForever@NHLFlyers
Here’s an awesome video of a bunch of kids from New York City sharing their thoughts on the New York Yankees releasing The Great Bambino, Babe Ruth.
Crazy to think these lads are like 8-12 years old and they probably could kick my ass without breaking a sweat. The year is 1935x.
@KeruboSk Pretty sure I chatted with a few octogenarians as a kid (circa 1980) or older who lived in the neighborhood. No one close me was that age. My nonna was only in her 50’s when I was growing up. The oldest I got to know was a WWII Vet named Gordie. He was 73 at the time (1991).
An MLB player tosses a ball to a kid wearing his jersey.
The kid makes the catch… then hands it to his little sister and gives her a hug. How can you not love baseball
