I don't know how those high up at Ipswich Town could possibly think that - complicitly or otherwise - allowing a political party to film an advert in the stadium, discuss the manager, hold up the shirt and display sponsors' names *wouldn't* be widely viewed as tacit endorsement.

What with the current situation and the likes of even Meloni rebuking Trump's folly in Iran, Starmer's reticence to any involvement in a conflict with no clear plan, objective or exit strategry is seeming more prudent by the minute. Meanwhile the likes of Badenoch have pivoted to outrage at Five pound notes rather than continue to back Trump on this.

It’s shocking just how dumb this whole “the Beatles weren’t that great” and “they were just a boy band” stuff really is.
Yeah they started out with simpler pop songs, but they were great pop songs a measure better than anything else out there. Then you get into Revolver/Rubber Soul and they move into more complex and original stuff which put them on a separate planet. And with Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery/White Album/Abbey Road they inhabit another universe of excellence and unseen musical achievement.
There has not been and never will be another song writing duo like Lennon McCartney, with a Harrison kicker.
The Beatles are the alpha and the omega. They are the best of 20th century music.
