@bscholl Absolutely! A 757 “neo” with updated engines, aerodynamic improvements and modernized flight deck & aircraft systems would be a game changer today! Word on the streets is that Boeing junked the jigs so reopening the 757 production line is unrealistic. They would’ve had a winner!

The world would be better off with more 757.

@JBrennanmckay Absolutely! I frequent NZ! There are quite a few AutoGyros there.

@Aloha_Aviator In New Zealand, girocopters and helicopters are under different classifications. They are classified as microlights, and you can only transfer a relatively small amount of hours across. It seems that it would be good training anyway, but I'll chip away at it in the meantime.

@Scotty96791 Coaxial designs are fascinating! Standard helicopter designs lose so much performance to needing an anti-torque rotor and it also becomes a critical component! I hope to see more coaxial a like the Sikorsky X2 & SB-1 one day…

@Aloha_Aviator The Russians have done well with the KA-52 Alligator...it specs out better than an Apache.

Designing, engineering and machining a perfect coaxial rotorhead is akin to creating a work of art. Leave it to a German machining company to master it! Even these carbon fiber rotors belong in a museum! I am so impressed by this little sports car of a helicopter! Say goodbye to tailrotor failures and dangers! Say hello to an agile light helicopter optimized for personal use & training; and it fits in a tall car garage! Excellent work @edmaerotec ! @JBrennanmckay Absolutely! If I had known about it I’d get my Private & Commercial Rotorcraft-Gyroplane rating in an AutoGyro. Do all of the requirements then add on your Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating! Total cost should be about half of doing it all in a heli…

@LianaSilsby You guessed it! This sporty little bird is relatively short, with lower rotor close enough to give a free haircut, so getting in and out with the rotors stopped is required for safety. But the total safety is enhanced without the need for an anti-torque tail rotor!

@Aloha_Aviator looks pretty cool.. Lightweight ? and responds well .. but.. do you have to duck to get in when rotors are moving !!

@Aloha_Aviator I went to Kauai for a wedding, while I was there I went with friends and took a helicopter tour. No doors 😳 It was the most amazing experience! Miles was our pilot and did an awesome job. 🤗 I got some great pics!
