Qatar suffers the largest attack and greatest loss since its establishment as a state.
An Iranian strike has disrupted 17% of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, in what is being described as a severe blow to the world’s largest LNG exporter.
The CEO of QatarEnergy revealed the serious consequences of the Iranian attack on Qatar’s gas facilities, confirming that the strike halted a significant portion of the country’s LNG output.
He added:
“I never imagined, even in my dreams, that Qatar and the region would face such an attack.”
He also stated that repairing the damaged infrastructure could take between 3 to 5 years.

Barak Ravid, Axios correspondent, says the U.S. had prior knowledge of the Israeli strike, even giving it the green light to “pressure Iran.”
But, you know, Iran wasn't pressured, Qatar got hit, etc. etc.
And now Trump’s “changing course”… at least according to Ravid.
Interesting shift either way. Let’s see who comes out next to dispute it.

He adds Iran’s retaliation against Qatar’s LNG facility was "unjustified", insisting Qatar had zero involvement. "NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL" on South Pars… unless Iran hits "very innocent" Qatar, in which case the U.S. will “blow up the entire field.” That same “extremely important and valuable” South Pars field — to be hit with force “Iran has never witnessed before.” Moral of the story? Hard to say anymore.

QatarEnergy confirms that Ras Laffan Industrial City this evening has been the subject of missile attacks.
Emergency response teams were deployed immediately to contain the resulting fires, as extensive damage has been caused. All personnel have been accounted for and no casualties have been reported at this time.
