Her bag, holding the little food she had, was clutched tightly against her chest. By now, the demons didn’t even seem interested in the food—only in the harm they could inflict. The demon's cruel laughter filled the alley…and then suddenly...silence?... “…..” Fear kept her from looking, but when she heard Alix’s voice, she peeked out cautiously. Her small body trembled as her eyes swept over the alley, taking in the pool of blood and the aftermath of the attack. She relaxed slightly, though the shock still lingered, and gave a tentative nod. “I–I…I think so…” Bruised and scarred....but thankfully nothing too serious...
