@dataveld you and I were there for it David. I remember. You remember. Tableau laughed. The rest is history.

Anyone remember when #PowerBI launched and a competitor was charging $2000 per user for a perpetual Desktop license and $500 per user per year for Online? The primary disruption Power BI had at launch wasn’t even technical. Its low cost for Pro led to revised prices everywhere.

@periclesrocha @SolarGuitars nice! is this standard tuning or drop? What would you compare the Solar to in your existing collection, if any?

It is extremely likely that there are several people who have had an absolutely enormous and positive impact on your life and career. Have you ever told them?

@MikeDoesBigData Thank you @MikeDoesBigData for all your hard work and dedication on this product in the early years. I had a lot of fun in the field working with USQL. Like so many innovations, I think it was just before its time :)

Today, we are retiring #AzureDataLakeAnalytics running #USQL. It was a privilege working on this new service like this, one of my best professional experiences and I thank all our customers and supporters and am looking forward to seeing you on #MicrosoftFabric or #AzureSynapse.

@MrAndyCutler How can you ask that question and not get an "it depends" answer :) There are lots of dedicated SQL pool workloads that could migrate to Fabric now. This doesn't mean every workload. And customers should feel confident that they can continue to use dedicated SQL pools until rdy
