@pigdev @Natlink722 Consistency is key - buying some assets from one artist, some assets from another artist, etc, will lead to inconsistent art style and look 'off'. Commissioning the same artist(s) to do all the artwork in a game is preferred for consistent style (IMHO).

@Natlink722 There's a lot to say about that. Asset curation is a skill. There many HIGH, and I mean it, HIGH quality assets out there. Just be mindful about how you're going to use them, and especially, how you will use them together. Maybe it will also be worth commisioning the creator.

The major thing blocking solo #indiedev people from making a living out of their game is: ego. The idea that only you can do good graphics. Only you can make good code. Only you have good design. Delegate. Use third-party assets, buy tools, pay for services, invest in marketing
