@NazrinYoukai Oh wait, I forgot. It's that "treasure belongs to the faithful" thing you told me about earlier, right? Does that mean everyone back at your temple have a hoarding habit?
English

@NazrinYoukai It's alot of trouble keeping track of when random people are going to die. Why do you get into so much trouble for treasure anyway? I never took you as someone who needed much money, and you don't seem like the inquisitive type I am.
English

@human_magician It's very "crazy". These appliances are groundbreaking stuff, Marisa. If you didn't take Outside World tools so lightly, you could probably bring great change to Gensokyo. Imagine if things like fridges or electric heaters were regularly used everywhere; life would be so nice.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk It’s ight. Nothing too crazy, just makes things a bit easier.
I have been experiencing Outside World stuff for a long while now though.
English

@human_magician Really? I felt like I couldn't get all the ones in my yard to work no matter what I did. You'll have to show me how sometime.
In any case, how is it? Have you finally experienced the true value of the Outside World's ingenuity? Do you now understand my fascination?
English

@NazrinYoukai Every now and then, yes. But what are you gonna do? Barge in during a ceremony and blurt out your offer?
English

@AppraiseThyJunk Those shrines host ceremonies every now and then, don't they?
It's good for their business. I'm sure I can benefit from it too!
English

@NazrinYoukai Maybe I'll take you up on that. So long as you're ready to barter by then.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk (Darn it, why'd I have to tip off this geezer...)
Umm.... I can say for certain that it is treasure at the least..!
Ergo, it is my duty to ensure that it only falls into the hands of the faithful.
Try attending that preaching in person, I might just reconsider.
English

@NazrinYoukai Like you? But you can't exactly say what it is, can't you? I'm afraid that your classification of "shiny rock" isn't very clear. You sound like an oni with that appraisal.
Humble yourself, and maybe we could both learn a thing or two. Doesn't your temple preach harmony?
English

@AppraiseThyJunk Excuse you!
The value of treasure doesn't change the fact that it's treasure.
It takes someone like me to recognize treasure.
I don't need your grubby hands on it! No thank you!
English

@NazrinYoukai You can't? Then what good is a treasure hunter that can't figure out the value of their treasure? To you, that may as well just be a shiny rock.
However, that signal you're talking about sounds like it might be interesting. Show it to me, maybe I can help you with that problem.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk It’s shiny!
There’s also a very peculiar signal coming from it. I can’t quite say why.
English

@izayoi_jemos Weren't you listening? I said big horses. Much larger than what we are used to.
Surely this must be the part of an elaborate set. All we see here could just be the saddle, placed on top of it's gigantic back. It sounds safer than drawn carriages—smaller chance of failure.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk But the seats are inside the armour. Wouldn't it just be better to ride the horse while in your own suit of armour?
There's less weight for the horse to bear, your view is less obstructed, so on and so forth.
English

@izayoi_jemos That just sounds ridiculous. Having a carriage absorb a horse's soul is a level of witchcraft that I cannot imagine the Outside World being capable of.
Now, maybe if they had big horses that wore these like armor, I can see that. They would sit on the seats and be carried away.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk Perhaps it's some form of magic? If you put the power of a steed in the contraption somehow, it could be spectacular for transport!
Though Outside World humans understanding magic... Quite unlikely.
English

@DissidentHell "What do you mean, 'hardly matters'? It's my time that I've set for myself. I'd argue that it matters alot, actually. So understand that I'm not exactly inclined to help you here. But you know, I might be interested. I'm likely the best person you could ask about machines."
English

@AppraiseThyJunk Yoo-hoo! Hecatia Lapislazuli speaking! Kind of a big deal haha!
(She knocked on the door AS she entered)
Wonderfully modest place you have here! Say- you know the fact you’re up means being close hardly matters! I need your help with finding a machine I’ve been looking for!

English

@chentheblackcat I suppose that the world could seem plain in comparison, but without magic, they've created some things that are fantastic. If you ever learn how to use even just one of the curiosities of the outside world, then you'll see just how fascinating and clever they can be.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk A mundane world, nya. They don't even have magic over there.
English

@YuriBlaster98 Really now. When you talk like that, you sound more pretentious than anything.
Is that all you'll say, or is it really just all you can think of? It's okay if you don't know, you're still young after all. Even I—with many years of wisdom gathered—am perplexed.
English

@AppraiseThyJunk Yea uh.
Doesn't use a horse, tell ya that much.
English

@chentheblackcat "At least try to be a little imaginative. How is this not interesting? It's a curiosity from a world beyond your reach!"
English

@MarisaKiri8218 Ahaha, you really think so? Even now? Haven't you grown at all?
I suppose it's not completely absurd to call me as such. Although, it's a little embarassing to think about.
