DNFed another litRPG. I don't mind the progression elements and level up scenes, so long as it is in the service of some greater goal--saving town, the world, etc. Leveling up just to get more skills to level up by itself does not a story make.

Japanese fans/audience uses two terms to describe storytelling approach especially in tv shows. Vertical Axis: Stories that advance the main plot. Horizontal Axis: More 'standalone' stories or 'slice of life' stories that expands what it feels like to live in the world.

You also can’t strap a rocket to it and fly it into orbit. And it’s really terrible at setting land speed records out at the Bonneville salt flats. Surprisingly, one vehicle can’t do everything in the world. That doesn’t make it completely useless in all situations. This is a false dichotomy.

God does not hate Redditors. God loves all his children. Redditors just can't walk on Holy Ground. For they are cursed, like the vampyri and the moon-wyrd, and the wickedness in their souls fights against the purity vested in land dedicated to righteousness. Still God loves them, for God IS love and we are but lesser bearers of his perfect light.
