@pratyush_no7 I think it's also because they know they have a good bowling department which could cover any mishaps in batting but I agree with your point too. We've been reacting to every small little error even though it's only the second game.

Rohit played with a Sr of 135. MI is at ~ 100 in the 15th over. But I can barely see MI fans crying, criticising Rohit for his knock or MI for their defensive approach. Kotla is generally a high scoring ground. I like the calmness that MI fans bring. On the other hand 48 hours before the game we CSK fans start panicking, criticising, demeaning our own players. The TL literally burns during the match. Imo we need to stay a lot more calm. We're too reactive nowadays & that somehow affects the team.

@internetumpire Thankfully this is a good headache to have unlike last year where we had to deal with the likes of Hooda, Shankar and Tripathi tbh.

Another season where it's almost impossible to predict a starting XII for the season opener. Don't know who'll be the one middle order Indian batter among 3-4 possible options, don't know that 4th overseas pick and can't tell which Indian quick they'll go with. Only positive thing is most of those options look pretty good on paper anyways.
