🧠🗣️ Rodri's comments about Arsenal will always make sense until they win a trophy: “Arsenal did an unbelievable season but the difference was the mentality. When they came here… they didn’t want to beat us. They just wanted to draw."

Pastor Tomiwa Immanuel@TomiwaImmanuel·
Let’s get into it, brother. You’ve made a very bold claim: that even from the Bible, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was not crucified. Let’s examine that carefully. Mark 14:50–51. Your interpretation is that since the disciples fled, no one could have witnessed the crucifixion. But the text itself does not support that conclusion. Just a few verses later (v.54), Peter is said to have followed at a distance. More importantly, the crucifixion itself was not a hidden event. It happened publicly. Jesus was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane, and that’s where the disciples fled. The Crucifixion happened the next day, and there were many witnesses present.   Mark 15:40 also explicitly tells us that Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, Salome, and other women were present and witnessed these events. John the Apostle is explicitly recorded in John’s Gospel as being at the cross. So the claim that there were no eyewitnesses does not hold when the full text is considered. Luke 24:39–42. Your argument is that Jesus eating and showing His body proves He did not die. But this is based on a misunderstanding of what the resurrection means in Christian theology. Luke 24 actually begins with the women going to the tomb where He had been buried (burials usually happen after death) and being told clearly: “He is not here, but is risen” (v.6–7). Jesus then appears (v.15), disappears (v.31), reappears (v.36), is touched physically, and also able to eat human food. This is not evidence that He did not die, it is clear evidence of a glorified physical resurrection body.  Also, Jesus showed them His body because they were terrified, kind of how you would be if you were looking at someone you saw die, standing right in front of you. Jesus assured them that even though He died as they all saw and heard, He was alive now.  See the words of Jesus Himself in v.46: “It was necessary for the Christ to suffer and rise from the dead.” So the very passage you cited explicitly affirms both His death and resurrection.

Bismillah I have read your thoughtfully articulated analogy and the accompanying question. However, I must respectfully point out that the comparison falls short of capturing the nuances of the matter at hand. In the case of mbape's goals, do we have any primary source claiming he didn't score—wether old or recent? I believe the answer is NO. Are there any eyewitnesses contesting the fact of his goals? Again, no. From your analogy, the man who came 30 years after cannot, by any rigorous historiographical standard, be classified as a primary source. Consequently, his testimony would be inadmissible in any serious historical inquiry. But in the case of the crucifixion of Jesus, we are confronted with multiple early accounts offering different accounts. I'll approach this from a point of commitment to intellectual integrity and critical scholarship. I also trust that your question arises from an earnest pursuit of truth, rather than from a position already impervious to reconsideration. Cc: @tomiwaImmanuel One might hastily assume that the belief in the Quranic account about Jesus, the son of mary is peak folly based on the question " How is it that Prophet Muhammed's claim (by revelation) comes almost 6 centuries after, yet is contradictory? How can he be correct? ". In the real sense, not critically examining the historiography surrounfing this history is sheer accademic negligence, if not the highest level of academic injustice. In the study of history, history stands at one end of the spectrum, while historiography occupies the other. They are interdependent yet epistemologically distinct aspects of the field of historical studies While History refers to the actual events, stories ir experience of the past, Historiography is the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. One might aptly say history provides the raw material for the sculpture of knowledge. It is safe to say that historiography is not merely a retelling a story, but a disciplined exercise in discerning what merits remembrance, based on evidentiary credibility and interpretive insight. Now let's get to the crux of the mattwr. For one to meaningfully engage, let alone accept the account of the Qur'an concerning Jeus, one must subject the prophethood of Muhammad to proper intellectual and theological scrutiny. Why? Because he claimed to have received revelation from the same primary source from which Jesus came—God. Respectfully, Pastor. Do you believe that the account of God regarding any historical event supersedes that of a human being, even if both are considered primary sources of history? Of your answer is No, then there is little basis for further discussion, and you may consider this a natural point of departure. But of your answer is yes, then Alhamdulillah, let's proceed. Both the Quran and the Bible assert themselves to be divine revelations from the same transcendent Source: God. This shared claim provides an interesting premise for comparative analysis. As such, both texts must be subjected to an equivalent standard of academic and rational scrutiny. It would be intellectually disingenuous to uncritically affirm the divine authorship of the Bible while placing the Quran under rigorous examination or vice versa. True fairness demands that we examine both scriptures through the lens of historical criticism, textual consistency, and theological coherence. Only by engaging with each text on equal epistemological footing can our respective faith commitments be carved not merely in tradition or emotion but in informed conviction.

. DEAR MUSLIMS, Why is it that the first thing you think of when defending your religion is violence? I’m an #Ex_Muslim to #Christianity, and despite being called names, I’ve never once considered hurting anyone. Why is threatening to kill your way of defending your faith? That says a lot about the nature of your religion itself. And the fellow even has the mind to call on Northern Nigerian Youth to kill me anywhere they see me......Can you imagine the audacity? Anyway, try it and see the LORD JESUS at work! Wonders shall never end anywhere this religion of peace is found.......Allahu Akbar 🤔🤔🤔

“A Nigerian pastor will get twice as many here in O2 or any event centre” Because someone posted a video of Muslims in Birmingham praying Eid It took a video of Muslims praying on our Sallah day to make you suddenly remember that a pastor can pull more crowds 😊 You people are the ones always starting comparisons, and when we reply, we will be tagged extremists and intolerant On Sallah day, that’s when you remember that your pastor can do better than what Muslim are doing We are not in competition with anyone, we just want to be Muslims and worship Allah in peace Lakum dinukum waliyadin

@dammiedammie35 This is why Christians know a lot about "taqiyya" than Muslims. See how he is dressed as a an Arab Muslim for no other purpose than to pretend to be one? This is their signature. If he carries a gun tomorrow and shout Allahu Akbar, they would say he is Muslim. Like many.
