20k steps is around 4 miles. 15-20 minutes walking is a leisurely pace.
By the time you deduct normal base activity the committment is somewhere short of an hour. If your entire waking day includes nothing but seated inactivity, this walking is even more important.
Start by walking during breaks at work. It adds up fast.
