SPORTS AWARDS EVENING. We look forward to seeing you all this evening to celebrate PE and sport at Backwell School over the past year. Refreshments will be served from 6:30pm to start at 7pm. A cash raffle will also be running with some top prizes. 🏆

The Year 9 cricket team enjoyed a successful North Somerset tournament on Tuesday, winning all their games. The final game went down to the last ball too! Top performers with the bat were George, George, Doug, Ollie and Archie. Our top bowlers on the day were Alex & Bella. 🏏

Congratulations to the Year 9 Rugby squad who tied the Somerset County Cup final 12-12 today against Churchill. Fully committed game in difficult conditions. Congratulations to the Churchill team too! 🏆🏉 🏆

Brilliant performance by our Year 7/8 girls’ football team at their tournament. Both mixed ability teams won their respective groups, drew with each other before winning their final games and finishing in 1st & 2nd place. Thank you @nailsea_pe for a very well organised afternoon.
