New figures show only five per cent of women think their health is treated as a priority by the NHS. Almost 50 charities and health bodies are urging the Government to speed up action to improve access and treatment for women and girls. They say the Government should make good on their campaign promise to prioritise women's health as they reform the NHS.

@BattleWithEndo I struggled in school I was on pill at 17 mefenamic acid at 15. Told would improve post birth. Baby at 35 and given copper coil post birth. Periods worse with IUD diagnosed Adenomyosis at 47.

This to me is absolutely disgusting! In the 16 years I have been out of school we haven’t changed one bit. We’ve not tried to even understand that young people have debilitating symptoms that transpire to be conditions like endometriosis,adenomyosis etc. Infuriating #PeriodPain

We need to do better. We need to stop letting our next generations down! #MenstrualHealthEducation

This is why at @Menstrual_H_P we are working continuously with school/colleges/universities to help support not only students, but teachers in developing their knowledge and understanding on all things menstrual health.

The fact we still 16 years on from when I was dismissed & ridiculed at times in school for my painful periods (which was later diagnosed in stage 4 severe endometriosis), & we are still no further forward is beyond me
