I think you’ll hear a lot of people say The only solution to it is some kind of Universal Basic Income. But our capitalist system is built on an assumption (which you can criticize if you want to!) that humans create economic value, and the humans who create the most value get the largest rewards. There’s a whole legal and property rights system underpinning that. What happens to society in a UBI world where value is created by Ai? In short: who gets the beach houses?
