My small little rural Midwest Parish has developed this unique Paschal tradition of being raided by a family of 30 gypsies who leave right after Holy Communion and don't come back until next year. My Priest has tried to get them to fully join our Parish community but they still kind of do their own thing. It was really nice though hearing them sing Christ is Risen in Romanian.

Three baptisms at the Paschal liturgy. 15 catechumens in the pipe. Still more coming through our doors and seeking the fullness of Truth. 92 people in attendance. The most this church has ever had.

My eldest wanted to go to Orthodox Easter, so… we celebrated the blessed resurrection with some Orthodox Christians last night/early this morning. Χριστὸς ἀνέστη ἐκ νεκρῶν, θανάτῳ θάνατον πατήσας! Christos anesti! Christ is risen!

My wife of almost 58 years died last night. I think I'll give Twitter a rest for a while.

I enjoyed the Pascha service but at the same time it was bittersweet, I stumbled all throughout Lent, and my heart is still a peace of coal, darkened and dead, sometimes I doubt that I'm normal, yet still Christ is risen that's all that matters now because even though I'm worthless if I put my faith and hope in his resurrection, his eternal victory will be mine as well
