Guatemala fans showing up in force wasn’t surprising. It was their best result in nearly 30 years and their fans were excited. They would have flocked to any stadium. On the other hand, the Gold Cup isn’t exciting for USMNT fans. A semi-final is the expectation. Enthusiasm is low

@TheStroBro @herculezg Exactly. How many US citizens were supporting 🇬🇹? It’s like that for any international soccer game on U.S. soil. The majority of fans in the stadium might be US citizens but they root for where they came from.

@herculezg I mean, how the American fan supports other countries should be called out, by you. It's a huge problem for soccer culture in America that Americans don't support the US team.
