If the sky was a vacuum then all gas on earth would have buggered off and there would be no life on earth.

It's a shame we can't go up to Space to see for ourselves. I hope I get the chance to see Space one day. The idea of a flat Earth conspiracy, for me, is a conspiracy "for no reason at all". If our Earth were flat, everything would be the same as it is now anyway so what would be the point in keeping it secret when knowing that it's flat would change nothing? If you believe the Earth is flat, then you're saying that everything would be exactly the same as you're saying it already is, so if there's no difference, why keep the truth secret?
