@Need4Sneed14 @PrettyGood9630 @sigmarxism They didn’t, the post says there are plenty of Steel Legion. But the Imperium is throwing so many regiments at Armageddon that they aren’t the most numerous regiments there now, it doesn’t mean they aren’t there in large numbers.

@Venom_Doc_ @feralmanlet @BattleSquire90 Plus, they wouldn’t want to show the Steel Legion alongside Yarrik. The Steel Legion are planned for 1-2 years from now. They don’t want to show any kind of model of them until it’s time to release them so they can build hype for the Steel Legion then.

They had their concept artists hastily draw up something and then slapped the 2025 copyright on the corner to save face and pretend it was all a plan and ruse. Get real. Grow up.

They weren’t in the trailer because Steel Legion models weren’t being released soon Yarrik was. Also, you really think they’d forge a copyright

Just because Games Workshop usually plans their release schedules in advance does not mean they are incapable of making exceptions and pivoting in the face of massive public backlash. It seems to me this is a panic induced pivot.

Even in the article about Yarrik’s announcement trailer they said there are plenty of Steel Legion around. But, they aren’t being released right now so they’ll show the guard that do have models right now.

@PrettyGood9630 @sigmarxism Because they want you to be hyped for them when they are actually ready to be released. They’ll show them in animations and art when they getting close to be able to buy. They want you to focus on the other new stuff they are releasing now, not stuff 1-2 years from now.

@The__Unyielding All the complaining did was make them announce something they were already working on way earlier than intended. Hence the sketches. The copyright says 2025 and was probably planned for release before even that. Complaining has never altered GW’s design and production schedule.

Just want to take a moment to acknowledge our effort. Our shit fitting did have an effect and I think that alone is something to have a bit of celebration. Taking a moment to enjoy some small victory to build strength for the next effort is what keeps people going.

People seem to be misinterpreting my words, I have no love for GW, fuck em. When I say aim your spite an vitriol in the right direction I mean GW not squabble amongst ourselves. I know they are only doing this because we threw a shitfit and if they had their way we'd shut up. I-

@twahtskie @bread_nought Pretty sure they only animate units with actual plastic to sell. Steel Legion doesn’t right now but you need guard units in Yarrik’s trailer so you show the units with actual plastic you can buy.

We literally got what we asked for, GW listened to the fans and started making steel legion models. Just be happy that we’re getting steel legion, unlike literally last week when we thought we’re never getting steel legion.

But you need to see guard forces in that trailer so they’ll show the guard units that actually have models. That’s why you don’t see Steel Legion and have an article on why others are seen.

They have a production schedule and Steel Legion is being released in 1-2 years or whenever the 11th Guard Codex is released. The Steel Legion models will be fully revealed when they want them to be revealed.
