❓Have you ever been in court when the Judge hasn’t read your case❓ This happens more often than you think with routine overlisting and cases sandwiched into lists that are already full. Recently, I sat in family court with my client who had spent months pouring her heart, time, and every penny she had into preparing her case only to find the judge hadn’t read all the papers. Although it was not a final hearing it was still a hearing where decisions would be made to shape the future of the case. The barristers were rushed through submissions because the judge wanted to leave early, even making a flippant comment about “having the builders in.” ❌This is not justice. ❌This is not acceptable. Decisions made in the family court shape lives forever. They decide whether a child is safe, whether a survivor is protected, whether a family can begin to rebuild. The very least anyone should expect is that the judge has read the papers and I mean all the papers, including the exhibits before making decisions. Rushing through cases, cutting corners, or treating this as “just another day in court” fails survivors, fails children, and fails justice itself. I have the greatest respect for Gisèle Pelicot, but it's also important to be aware of her daughter Caroline Darian's situation too. Caroline thinks she is also a victim of Dominique Pelicot. Her mother doesn't think she was. “She is not able to recognise that I probably was drugged by my father. It is a way for her to protect herself.” Caroline no longer speaks to Gisèle. It is so painful when a father's violence tears mothers and children apart. I can totally understand why Caroline feels the need to be no contact now. “Incest in France is taboo. And there are a lot of victims where it’s always the same situation. The owner of this site that has ruined so many lives has finally been revealed - and been successfully sued by Neil and Donna Sands The owner of Tattle is Sebastian Bond, who also goes by Nest and Glow - a vegan influencer on insta. I now sit and wait whilst everyone plans group action - I will 100% be included in any action against this site and the users. I was very nearly not here today due to this site and the users - but I am glad I am here today to see this ruling. A man set this site up, but women are the majority perpetrators and stalkers using the site - usually targeting female victims. It’s the beginning of the end - and let me state this clearly - many of the users who will eventually been uncovered and unmasked are female professionals, working in VAWG, social workers, academics, counsellors, therapists, journalists. This isn’t a site filled with bots or basement dwellers - this is a site filled with people who live double lives - pretending they are anti-abuse and anti-harm whilst engaging in life changing abuse and stalking of so many victims. The tables are turning, and you are no longer protected by this site.
