@Rinne_yt Rudy is stunted even when still growing so when he first discovers Eris is attracted to him when she’s 12 he’s initially excited (gross) but then has a mental image of himself as he was swooping down on her and it’s clear in the subtext that he’s disgusted, even if for a moment

I realized I misremembered Eris’ age, she was 15, not 13. That doesn’t really change my overall point. Rudeus is mentally an adult in a child’s body. He retains the mindset, awareness, and intentions of an adult, so when he shows attraction toward underage characters, it’s hard to view that as just "kids being kids" He understands what he’s doing. What bothers me is that the story doesn’t meaningfully address or condemn that behavior. I don’t hate Mushoku Tensei, in fact, I think it does a lot of things really well, but this aspect feels like a major flaw. Instead of being treated as something serious, it often comes across as brushed off or even played for humor, and there aren’t real consequences for it. That’s disappointing given how strong the rest of the series is. Also, to clarify: I’m not comparing the TBATE with MT. I’m specifically comparing their protagonists. Personally, I find someone like Arthur to be a more compelling lead than Rudeus in this regard.

If Rudeus wasn't a pdf, Mushoku Tensei would be one of the best isekai ever created.

Explaining the TADC situation to americans: So imagine someone devouring a BURGER right infront of your eyes and tell you to NOT look while you starve to death for 2 weeks straight

He actually does. The whole movie is about him being shunned/bullied by his friends (who also bullied her) and everyone else. He grows up, develops social anxiety and wants to kill himself because he hates himself that much for the way he treated her. Only not going through with it because he wants to make it up to her, even though they were actual middle schoolers when this occurred. He learns sign language, helps her sister and practically dedicates himself to her, and the entire message is a beautiful one. That you can always atone for what you've done and anyone is capable of change and becoming a better person. How ironic that message is lost on Twitter users.

This is said by her and shown by her actions

She was an empty husk of a person that only existed as a plot device for the mcs“redemption”.In no sane world would someone driven to suicide would form any romantic interest to her ex abuser

أكثر أنمي نزل تقييمي له بعد الإعادة هو ري زيرو، خصوصا الموسمان الثاني و الثالث كان فيهم كمية عطب كبيرة جدا و نزول مستوى حاد شديد مقارنة بأول موسم. الموسم الأول ممتاز و مثير للإهتمام لكن باقي المواسم للنسيان صراحة.

@Katfetti_ I think that’s fair. As a community those with the early access should move to shut down any spoilers that are untagged as much as possible and avoid spreading anything for the two week period and those without the access should do their best to shield themselves

I just want to apologise if any of my posts made people upset or rile up the fandom. I wanted to express my frustrations which others seem to share Althought what I said may be valid I think theres enough fighting on the timeline and I shouldnt add to anymore for everyones sake

At least some are adults so should have the capacity to understand why ppl dont want to spoilers & self control to not post them.

@LilLilyRizz I do have a level of empathy for the fact that yall get nothing in comparison, I just hope you understand that creators especially smaller ones don’t do it to spite you or disregard your support. It’s all logistics at the end of the day, no personal slights.

I 100% look annoying asf rn and Im sorry but people who don’t live In Japan/US never get anything. I live In Ireland so theres not even that much conventions here. Its just kinda frustrating I hope you see where Im coming from :/

Even setting aside Agenda, Yuji is probably the least interesting protagonist in modern shonen jump. Possibly all of shonen jump honestly.
