Calling Black men the n-word is racism. If John has coprolalia and can’t control the slurs he says, he should watch from a separate area, not in the main audience where Black people are exposed to slurs

I feel so badly for everyone involved in this. People with tourette's say a lot of things they don't believe in.

If you watch I Swear you’ll see there was a moment on John Davidson’s life where he was beaten after he involuntarily called a young woman a slut.
Not all tics are the same. They don’t always happen. The borderline witch hunt towards him is crazy.

According to Google, Tourette syndrome can include involuntary verbal tics like shouting obscene, racial or taboo words, known as coprolalia. These are neurological, not intentional, and only affect about 10 to 30% of people with TS. That said, it’s hard not to question when a “diagnosis” is being used as a crutch to excuse blatant racism. Michael and Delroy deserve public apologies, not the audience.
