@lsv Been playing MtG for 25+ years and Spider-Man has been my favorite superhero since I was six and I have absolutely zero interest in this set. I got into MtG for the fantasy aspect, not superheroes. Loved LotR and FF, this Marvel stuff is a hard pass for me though.

In my entire career doing content creation (we are talking since 2006 here), I’ve never seen a set with less interest than Spider-Man*. Videos and articles on release week did worse than Arena Cube or Final Fantasy flashback drafts, which is astounding. *Aftermath not included

@wildstwawberry Spider-Man is my favorite superhero of all time and I'm fairly indifferent to this set. There's maybe four or five cards I play to get for a few decks and that's it. I MAY collected the comic book page cards because as a SM fan I really do like those unless the prices are insane.

I have not met a real human person who has expressed anything but disdain for this Spider-Man set. Nobody has said they’re looking forward to it to my face yet. Not even Commander players!

@BoringBiz_ I got lucky to get my home in my mid 20s in 2013, but looking at the market now it just wouldn't be possible. The house next to me which is almost the exact same layout and sold for the same price I purchased mine for a month after is now listed $350k more the it sold for in 2013

An entire generation under the age of 30 is coming to realization that having a family and home will never be within the grasp of reality for them Society is not ready for the consequences of this. A generation with no stake in the system would rather watch it burn

@coL_Amazonian @foodtimegaming @VoxyTwitch It still is for a lot of the stuff, I enjoy playing solo DPS Astrologian though so I'm okay with it that way. If I am in a multi-player scenario though I swap to Viper or Gunbreaker.

@msfujoshi23 Probably, thought they go a little further and end it with the Kur's first scene with the Serpos but the fact I don't think I've seen anything announced about a voice actress for Valmola tells me she probably has no speaking lines this season, so THAT scene probably is the end.

After seeing the new trailer, I can confirm for sure that they will end season 2 with THAT scene! MY BOY OKARUN WILL BE SO MUCH HATED FOR SURE RIP 🙏🏻

@lovechazelle Money and WB has no original ideas anymore. Remember reading the reason they lost the Lord of the Rings series to Amazon is because their "pitch" was to just retell the same story the movies did but in weekly series format ala Game of Thrones.

@DiscussingFilm Haven't seen CGI in a movie this bad since The Mummy Returns, and that was 21 years ago. Like what was the budget? Because it sure as hell didn't go towards the VFX.
