If you have not yet started investing in to the stock market for your future, now would be one of the best times in recent history to. With markets so down and prices so low, there's no reason not to start with how much ever you have spare.

$AAL is under pressure today as rising oil prices push fuel cost concerns back into focus. For airlines, higher oil often means tighter margins, and the market is pricing that in quickly. Sometimes it's not the company that changes, just the cost of doing business.

$NVTS dropped after Wolfspeed filed a patent lawsuit, and the market wasted no time hitting the sell button. To me, this feels like one of those "headline first, fundamentals second" moments. Is anyone buying this dip or currently holding?

@0xascale Exactly, the ripple effects go beyond HBM.

@CandlePilot The non-obvious part: an HBM stack burns far more wafer area per bit than commodity DRAM, at lower yield. Every wafer shifted to HBM pulls several out of the DRAM pool. The AI demand story quietly tightens all of memory, not just the HBM line.

The lawsuit has definitely added to the panic around memory stocks. But when I zoom out, my thesis hasn't changed. AI isn't slowing down, and neither is the demand for HBM. Sometimes the best opportunities show up when everyone else is focused on the headlines.
