@JGmajor7 I wouldn’t say so, but I can see why some people might. I think the size of it adds to the spectacle of the event and makes it unique when compared to pretty much any other sporting event. Should definitely try and make it to one if you can, this was my first time and loved it
English

@Carter_CLE Do you think the venue is too big in this configuration? I haven't seen it this way in person...
English

I’m thinking a huge statue, naming the stadium after him, changing one of Carnegie or Ontario to Ramirez Street, potentially making him the mascot. Please let me know more ideas if I missed any
Cleveland Guardians@CleGuardians
José Ramírez will become the all-time leader in games played in our 125-year history with his next. #GuardsBall

@TheCavsJack I was so convinced we won the trade when it first happened

isaiah thomas was one of the wildest rebounds ever

$10 Cavs Isaiah Thomas jersey from the Rocket Arena garage sale? That’ll play.
English

@JardTuck78 Nah lol. They had a table with these black jerseys (only player I saw was IT) and authentic blanks, and next to it they had a table with the current jerseys but only Jerome and Hunter. Would’ve loved a Ty Jerome one but only really had smalls and mediums
English

@PatrickChenhz There was also stuff happening throughout the concourse. Larry Nance Sr signing autographs and taking pics along with some Monsters players. Also saw Campy Russell walking around. Couple other booths with WNBA, Charge, season ticket member etc stuff as well
English

@Carter_CLE no game used/game issued stuff? Basically items from the shop right?
English

@PatrickChenhz It was mostly team shop overflow and giveaways yeah. They did have a couple authentic jerseys but they were all blanks. That’s about the closest they had to “team issued” they also had mystery autographed pennants and basketballs though which was cool. I got a TT pennant (💔)

English

@GuardsJoey Oh solid, those right field seats are some of my favorites in baseball
English

@PredsKc We lost 2 WS in the 90s with some of the greatest offensive rosters ever assembled then blew a 3-1 lead in the WS in 2016 then 2 years ago we were on the brink of another WS appearance before the best closer in baseball was purposely losing games for us. There’s so much more too

When will something bad happen to this franchise

Just a generational start to a career. #GuardsBall

Elly De La Cruz sunglasses (📸@logan_flatland) Is this an MLB first?

@IsaacOkoroFan I also sound like I’m complaining just to complain lmao. They’ve done more than most organizations would for someone like him, but a statue would be awesome
English

@IsaacOkoroFan Yeah I’ve seen that but I think the only issue is that it’s in the back corner of heritage park. Like you’d have to go out of your way to find it. Even if they didn’t do a full on statue I think if they just moved that drum sculpture up to his spot in the bleachers itd be perfect
English

For all my Cavs followers… let me hit you with one of the craziest stories in all of sports fandom.
John Adams went to nearly every Cleveland baseball home game for 40+ years straight. He banged his drum to get the crowd to clap in unison. He paid for his own tickets. He was an ICON.
He unfortunately passed during covid and he’s missed every game.

@FateTheSDCard @PranavSriraman Also, there’s a lot of regional rivalries. So if you take my Pittsburgh example, I’m sure there are cavs and sixers fans there, but there are also a ton of people from Pittsburgh that would never cheer for a Cleveland or Philly team regardless of sport
English

@FateTheSDCard @PranavSriraman Most cities that are close to other cities with pro teams have fans that have a true passion for their city and other sports teams. Like if they put a team in Pittsburgh, that would get embraced immediately despite the Cavs are only 2 hrs away and there’s already a team in PA
